Wow.. very interesting controlls, I think I never seen it before, it actually feels a bit like swimming. It definetly makes fun when you have enough space to swim fast a few times.
I thought the blue flowers were friendly though, looked like something to collect (and the blues are friendly in this game - so another reddish/aggressive color might help)
So I would say the most fun comes from swimming and making turns.
Less from presize little movements ---> like snatching the green point, under the flower at the bottom (right under the starting point).

The flowers being friendly are a very common assumption, I will definitely change the sprites there.
